Day 91 – Anna had no problems handling Stein ‘s boat, including rolling it without effort – 31 May

Day 91. 31st of May. No paddling. Erling needed a day try to get rid of a cold.

Erling mostly tried to sleep off a cold that has been lurking for a week and came with full force this morning.

Stein has explored the “tourist trap” of Mandrogi and hung out with our new friends here.

Not all discussion and dialogues are suited to share on a blog. Let us just sum up that we have a lot of respect for how they meet and tackle what is often a profoundly uncertain situation and with good cheer. We’ll be a bit more selective about what we get annoyed about when we return.

We also have a lot of respect for Anna’s paddling skills. She is an accomplished white water paddler, and she had no problems handling Stein ‘s boat, including rolling it without effort.

She informed us that 2nd of June there will be the yearly kayak race DOWN the Neva River. Maybe something to think about for another year.
